Facilities Engineer

Job Description:

SRL is seeking a Facilities Engineer to design, maintain, and continuously improve the infrastructure required to support advanced semiconductor R&D across multiple locations and disciplines. This role ensures reliable operation of cleanrooms, vacuum systems, process utilities, gas delivery and exhaust, cooling water, electrical distribution, HVAC, and facility support equipment while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain semiconductor laboratory and cleanroom infrastructure

• Manage facility utilities and troubleshoot failures

• Plan equipment installations and utility expansion alongside contractors

• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for facility systems

• Implement reliability improvements and monitor facility uptime

• Maintain facility documentation, drawings, and utility schematics

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)

• Experience supporting laboratory, cleanroom, or manufacturing facilities

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems

• Strong troubleshooting and time-sensitive project management skills

• U.S. Citizenship
