Semiconductor Device Engineer

Job Description:

SRL is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Semiconductor Device Engineer to bridge the gap between material growth and device performance. You will work closely with our materials synthesis team in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment to translate SRL’s proprietary epiWafers into industry-leading power components.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor cleanroom facilities: photolithography, wet/dry etch, evaporation, sputtering

• Experience with electrical analysis via probe station

• Proven ability to independently analyze, graph and interpret complex data sets

• Proactive, self-starting attitude comfortable with high-intensity early-stage startup work under minimal oversight

• Strong technical communication skills to effectively translate device data into actionable feedback

• Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or pertinent field

• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intimate theoretical understanding of device physics and materials science

• Experience with UWBG (especially gallium oxide) semiconductor materials
